A Conversion? The new Mag360 doesn’t represent a new digicoping system (kit). However, it transforms the already effective Phone Skope digiscoping solution into a new world of increased flexibility. How? By replacing its traditional friction/lock-in connection with a strong magnetic link. The result is true 360-degree rotation, allowing for easier target recognition and leveling capabilities. On a slope? No problem. The Mag360 system allows for leveling above and beyond what can be achieved with your tripod. Yes, it’s a conversion, but, more importantly, it’s an upgrade to an already great digiscoping system.

Here are brief instructions for connecting your Phone Skope components and ultimately for using them to connect your smartphone camera and optics.

Attach C2 MAG Disc to Optic Adapter. Take the C2 (optic-side) MAG Disc and align it with the back of your C3 adapter. Insert the C3 optic adapter into the C2 and twist until it locks into place.Attach Phone Disc. Insert the Mag360 ring into the plate on the back of your Phone Skope case. Twist into place.

Install the Optic Adapter on Your Optic. Press the C3 adapter onto your optic eyepiece until fully seated. Once locked, attach it to the back of the phone case.

Connect Your Phone to the Optic. Bring your phone camera close to the optic, and it will magnetically connect, aligning the camera and optic. Now, get comfortable, get your bearings, and enjoy seamless digiscoping. Rotate the phone, as needed, to achieve level images and videos.

The Mag360 works with any Phone Skope kit by upgrading the standard friction-lock plate with a precision-engineered MagSafe-style insert. The magnetic contact is housed on the optic adapter side, keeping your phone safe, secure, and perfectly aligned.
